I have this identical jack in my garage now, I use it regularly to lift my 308 onto jackstands. Its 'good', but not 'great' in that the jack is dead-lifting a weight close to its max-rating. It will push the car up, but it will require some serious pushing DOWN on the handle to get the car to rise. Sooner or later, I will end up blowing seals, but until then I'm getting my money's worth. Charles Perry has/had Harbour Freight's 'one-tier-up' racing jack that has a very-similar low profile, but has an extra 1,000 LB. lift capacity - I believe its only another $60 more..... I'm getting tired of replacing the cup on my standard floor jack with a piece of plywood to get under the TR.
