OK, so I'm sitting here very smug in the knowledge of how superior
the electrics in the GT4 are. You guys are victims of bad-era
Italian design and execution.

...... Until I remembered that one night. I was driving home about
half crocked (Ferrari-Bubba - are you listening???) from a Mexican
restaurant. I turned on the headlight and the right one kept bouncing
up and down, like one of those cheap Hairless dogs in the back
window of some ethicnic groups.

Up and down. Up and down. That stupid headlight wound not
stop. Both of us were laughing so hard that neither could see. Not
a good thing after several cervasas. (Or many....) I tried turning it
off. No luck. It kept bouncing up and down. Turn it on. Same thing.
Up and down. I was laughing so hard that I thought I would pee
my pants. My only comfort was in the former Ferrari Willi (now
Ferrari Bubba) comments about how his father-in-law had pee'd
in the passenger seat and it cleaned up reasonably well.

Anyway, after a bunch of twisting of the switch, the stupid thing
stayed down. The root cause: A bad relay. Replaced and no
issues since. In fact, the car has been dead ass reliable.

Hans.
