Reminds me of one of the most terrifying and evil photos that I've ever seen. It was a shot of the beginning of the actual?explosion when we set off an H-Bomb. I don't know how many milli-seconds after the device was detonated the shot was taken, but the actual explosion was no more than 50 feet across. To me, it was a glimpse straight into hell. How the camera survived is a mystery to me too. And speaking of fast shutter speeds, back in the late 1950's, I had a? 35mm SLR with a shutter speed of 1-2,000th of a second. Out at Riverside one hot, sunny afternoon, Dan Gurney was testing a 4.9 Ferrari. He was clocked screaming down the 1.1 mile back straight @ 171MPH, and the shot I got stopped every spoke in his Borani wire wheels as if they were standing still. Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba ? ? Great pictures.? well worth seeing.? ? http://www.tom-phillips.info/images/cool.pics.military.htm ? http://www.tom-phillips.info/images/cool.pics.military.2.htm http://www.tom-phillips.info/images/cool.pics.military.3.htm -- ?
