Look before you remove the belts mark the cams and check them against the

That's interesting.....my car has very noticeable marks that are dead
on.....
I figured that the first motors (mine is 0058) were carefully put together
with the marks and all........

My car is currently in for a belt change.  The mechanic ask me if I wanted
him to degree the cams and make a reference mark for future use.  He
said that there wasn't anything of "real use" on the cams in the early
years.  He's charging me an extra 3 hours for this.
