The original style braided hose is stupidly expensive, and generally not
very good by today's standards. If you are building a concourse car,
you'll have to spend the $$$ and put up with it. If you're building a
real world car, get what you feel good with - Goodyear hose, gates green
stripe etc. If you simply want the best, Dave Helms has several hundred
feet of metric size, braided silicon hose. This stuff is just fantastic,
and almost looks like the original. He has all the common sizes used in
Ferraris.

Hey Gang, There are numerous flexible hoses under the bonnets of 308s and Mondials, which are not associated with coolant. There are high pressure fuel lines, low pressure fuel lines and vacuum lines. There are even lines handling air (which is just vacuum with stuff in it. :-) With this in mind, is there a specific brand of braided hose that is recommended for our cars or is any quality fuel line rated for fuel injection acceptable? Thoughts? rick _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/david%40davidthursby.comSponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlineshttp://www.F1Headlines.com/
