        Although it's not the same as actually being there, the show 
"Cities Of The Underworld" on The History Channel showed some of the inner 
workings of the dam on the episode titled "Secret Sin City".  Looks like 
it's being replayed Saturday morning (how convenient!).
        The episode wasn't entirely about the dam, but they show some of 
the maintenance tunnels, including the sump room at the very bottom of the 
dam where water that seeps in from the rock walls is collected.  They also 
take a boat inside of one the diversion tunnels at the base.
