While i can't tell you what others like, I can tell you
what will work and likely you can get locally.

First, Barkeepers Friend - it's a powder - it's sold
in places like Bed Bath and Beyond or your grocery store.

Comes in a can like Ajax - but it isn't Ajax.

Will take water spots off windows easily.

Normal cleaning?  A mix of isopropyl alky and vinegar.
