Yeah, a good friend of mine just bought his wife a new C350 and got himself
a matching C.  Er, a C63.  He looooves the car.  Have to admit, much like I
was a Ford Blue guy, as opposed to a Chevy Red guy, I've always fallen on
the BMW side of the German ledger.  Would never consider an MB (but, dang,
that CLS is a good looking car), and the C-class is too small for my current
needs.  

Ok, maybe I'd consider an SL65, but only after I get my hair-dresser
license.  :-)

Hey Dennis,

My 740iL is still on the road, barely. My son has it at college and uses it
as a grocery getter. I chose a Mercedes C300 "Luxury" to replace it. I went
no-frills. Didn't even get leather. Cost was $35k and although its the "baby
benz" it has performed flawlessly.  The car is my daily driver.  8500 miles
on it now, one year later.
