We're in Charleston, SC. Housing prices are usually low here except for the islands and downtown. Now that the slowdown has hit, some outer areas have a lot of deals to be had or unfinished development to take over. We do get the occasional hurricane, and we had an earthquake here last week. First one in 100 years, but we're on a faultline. It was only a 3.6, though. We do not escape the humidity. It is brutal from May through September, but now is really nice. -- charles -----Original Message----- From: Paul Bennett [mailto:pbennett [at] macnet.com] Sent: Sunday, December 21, 2008 4:44 PM To: Charles Perry Subject: RE: [Ferrari] Weather At 04:34 PM 12/21/2008 -0500, you wrote: >It's pretty nice here - high fifties to low sixties. Don't recall if you are in NC or SC. I've heard that housing prices in SC are low. Only downside to your weather is the occasional hurricane? I worked in Rio 2 years and humidity doesn't bother us, but perhaps you are too far north for that. Thanks for the info.
