Well

The GTI said it was -3 degrees (F) on the way to Walmart with the kids today... On the way back I got the low tire pressure warning, and I was like "screw it, if its flat a new rim is cheaper than frostbite". It was blowing very hard so wind chills very far negative, so not fit for anyone outside today in Northern Illinois. On the plus side my son learned about negative numbers today and really got the whole concept very well, not bad for 5. We got about a foot a few days back, but honestly the weather has been like a yo yo, we had 3 inches, then it melted, 7 inches, that all melted (got the Xmas lights up!) and of course its below zero today, supposed to be in the upper 30's by Thursday... Days like this I still don't miss Dallas, but moving South again seems like a good idea.

Of course the May to September haul is awesome here :)

Mike

Cold and snowy here in MetroWest Boston; 10 inches yesterday and another 6 + today. Finally junked the old lame snow blower and bought a beast - http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/products/modeldetail.aspx?page=modeldetail&section=P2SB&modelname=HS1132TA&modelid=HS1132TA

I'm becoming convinced the Ice Age has begun. Haven't been

So, I'm going to downsize and leave Oregon but to where is the question.

Is the weather where you are better than average for December or
at least acceptable? Beginning to think Bubba Hilser made a smart move but I really don't know what the winter weather is like in the South.
