Ken, you're no longer active on the list? Regards, Carmine
Hi Carmine!I still correspond with a lot of guys who are/were on the list, but don't read the f-list per se on a daily basis. Nothing against the list, but I am an inveterate writer. Since I lost my Ferrari (along with my pants and some shirts) in the last big divorce several years back, I don't have much Ferrari-related stuff to contribute.
Whenever I posted something not On Topic you could predict griping. Others were leaving the list from too much non-Ferrari stuff being posted. So I gradually stopped in the best interests of those who really needed a useful exchange of Ferrari-centric information.
I still correspond with Red Hilser on a daily basis, a lot with my pal Dave Handa, some with Dennis Liu or Therese and even the two Steves and cLyDe from time to time. But mainly about more mundane topics: the increasingly authoritarian federal government, loss of individual freedoms, and the oogedy boogedey straw man called "Global Warming". And the usual: watches, guns and methods of reproduction.
I had a Facebook page for awhile but THAT got me in trouble too, for reasons not worth mentioning here. I just reactivated the page in case anyone wants to get ahold of me (Ken Rentiers) or use <rentiers [at] mail.com>. It is a forwarding address. It never changes if I shift ISPs.
Still working, I will never quit. No Ferrari just now but maybe tomorrow; there's always tomorrow (wanders off singing out of key....)
