If you take it to a radiator shop they will probably remove the tanks and seal off the ends of the leaking tube unless the leak is right were the tube enters one of the end plates. If you want to spend the bucks, a recore will provide more peace-of-mind.

If like other cars, it's aluminum.  We used to get these repaired
all the time at a local fab shop that had a whiz with a heliarc.
It's thin metal, so the guy had better know his stuff.
