I guess i could have been more clear on my reference to " leech". I was not 
denouncing all Govt workers, just the unnecessary ones that are created for 
unneeded positions and as payback for voters and special interests. Things 
like the Dept of Energy, which produces not one single kilowatt of energy, 
dept of education  etc.are in my opinion complete wastes of money . Dept of 
welfare costs taxpayers $ 1.40 for every $ 1.00 they hand out , for a total 
of $ 2.40 expenses.  What exactly does america need another 600 k or more 
workers to do? We have multi millionaire silver spoon people like Carolyn 
Kennedy about to be given a cushy job as senator, a dream benefits and 
retirement  package, not that she needs it, all because she was a member of 
the lucky sperm club, even though she cant say two words without injecting 
the " you know" valley girl phrase into it.
Do NYers have such a pathetic pool of residents in the state that they can 
only appoint another Kennedy to represent them?
My point was we dont need to hire Govt workers  by the stadium load just for 
the sake of creating new jobs. Every Govt workers salary and benefit is paid 
for by the forced confiscation of money from the private sector that 
actually creates jobs.
On the otherhand, maybe we should all become Govt workers and all have jobs 
for life, but then where would the taxes come from to pay us our salaries.
BTW, i am an Air Force Brat, so technically i was living off taxpayer money 
as a kid , but Defense of the country is one of the very few things the 
constitution authorizes that money be spent on. I dont know what new jobs 
Obama wants to create just for the sake of creating them, but Congressman 
Barney Frank has stated he wants to cut the military budget by 25 % , so 
maybe thats where they will get some of  the money from . But that means 
firing Govt workers . Oh my, what a paradox?
