I guess you didnt read my followup post  that clarified much of what i said, 
one of which was i am from a military family myself. But if you think that 
Obama wants to only hire really needed workers, instead of just creating more 
jobs for the sake of bragging rights, i think you are mistaken. Unless you 
think we need a "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just 
as strong, just as well-funded" as the US military, then i think you are in the 
minority.
Who is going to pay the salariesfor all these new jobs? Are you willing to pay 
even higher taxes and spread your wealth around ?

        Rich - is your tin-foil hat gotten too tight, or have you been 
double-dipping into Rush Limbaugh's Oxycontin supply again?  

        What would you say if all 600K of those new Fed Gov employees were for 
the US Border Patrol or the Dept. of Homeland Security?  Are you aware that 
you're offending pretty much anyone who has ever served in the Military (many 
of whom take Civil Service jobs after leaving the service or if they become 
disabled from injuries sustained in combat - many 'private sector' companies 
won't hire them), the CIA, the FBI, Customs, ATF, Justice Department, NSA, US 
Border Patrol, Secret Service, myself, Lashdeep, Matt, Clyde and a whole host 
of other listers who have or currently work for the US Govt.?  

        You, sir, are an ass.

Well that didnt take long. Not even in office yet and already your tax $$ are
going to buy 600 k more Govt union leeches, all with guaranteed pensions sweeter
than anything you will ever see, all paid from more of your taxes that no doubt
will be going up as Obama spreads your wealth around to buy 600k more voters for
him in 2012.
