While I appreciate some of you may be bored at home sitting in front of the  
computer could we please STOP all this political talk. Not just Larry but  
EVERYONE.
 
Honestly I don't care!
 
I don't care about Carter from 36 YEARS AGO.
 
I don't care who you support.
 
Those of you that have posted you are moving to Switzerland or the Cayman  
Islands then PLEASE GO. In fact we are all friends here and I would love to  
visit. I am only a day away from that "paradise" and I will happily take you 
out  
to dinner in Geneva. In return you can visit in sunny Shropshire here (I have 
 met several other listers who came to the UK including Lashdeep, Rui,  and 
of course I see Francis at FOC events. In the course we can talk about the  
WONDEFUL car owning paradise that the Swiss have and how great it is to live  
there. (Although won't be any track days for you there...)
 
My point is I am not trying to be an ass but what happened to NFC??  You 
know... NO FERRARI CONTENT? And when did the small group (cause its  only a few 
who contribute) who insist on sharing their boring, inane political  ideas 
think 
it was something the rest of us wanted to read? Have you noticed how  few 
people are participating?
 
I don't care at all which side of the fence you sit and I don't want to  read 
about it. I want to talk and read about cars. 
 
Months and MONTHS of this stupid boring talk about blah blah blah...I mean  
CARTER? REALLY? YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT CARTER?

IMHO,  Winning the Nobel Peace Prize is not so much-effort based as  
politics-based - look  no further than Al Gore winning for making  people 
aware of global warming.  Scientists all over the world are  backing away 
from the GW Theory and evidence recently released says the  1/2 C. increase 
over the 1st 90 years of the 20th C were erased by the 10  year cooling 
period of the 1990s.

But that's a whole nother  argument.

Then there's the 2001 winner, the corrupt Kofi Annan,  Secretary of the UN., 
Arafat was a co-recipiant in 1994, Gorbachev in 1990  for ending the cold war 
(seems like a guy named Reagan had something to do  with that), the UN peace 
keep forces (questionable IMHO),  but there  are good choices as well.
