Even though I've been to Oz several times and love the place, I am not a  
Vegemite fan so I pass on that and would have a Victoria Bitters or other  good 
aussie beer that is actually served in Australia (most definitely NOT  
Fosters).  
 
My conundrum is that January 25 is also the birthday of the great Scottish  
poet Robert Burns.  My background is English (Pommie) not Scottish and so I  
don't partake of haggis but I will take advantage of any excuse to take a  wee 
dram of Highland malt whisky, preferably Macallan, but any good single malt  
will do.
 
So on January 25 I sound like George Thorogood with "one whisky, one  scotch, 
one beer!"
 
Hurray for the Scots and Aussies!
