I've owned a few cars, probably more than my fair share -- twenty or so
--and still have eight presently, mostly Porsches ranging from a '96 Turbo
(still the most enjoyable car I've ever owned) to a '07 GT3 (with the best
retained resale value of any car I've owned) plus other forms of power
sports -- all of them money pits from boats and jet skis to a snowmobile and
various motorcycles all of which I should never have bought but can't bring
myself to sell.

But this thread reminds me of a comedy movie where a thirty-something couple
are "sharing" about their prior sex life:

The guy starts with a handful of names of girls along the way and finally
counts to about, say, seven or eight.  Not an unusual number by any
standard.  And then the girl recounts about the same number of boys,
happily, but with some embarrassment admitting she went "all the way" with
each of them and "forgets the ones that weren't serious relationships."
"Okay, well, now we're all done with the past!" declares the boy.  Or words
to that effect.  Only the girl is already staring off into the distance and
continues "Then, when I went to college ..."
