It's been a while and the air is warm, the sun shining bright.

In the words of Jimmy Buffett -

The're freezin' in Buffalo
Stuck in their cars
While I'm sittin' here
'Neath the sun and the stars!

Time for a road trip.  Going to take my old sh*tbox flame-throwing carb 308GTS 
to the Bay Area.  Friends are having a Superbowl party.  Don't care who wins, 
but it sounds like a good time to head up the coast topless.

Heading up tomorrow morning, fire extinguisher in hand.  Taking the I-15 to 
Santa Clarita, then the CA-126 over to Ventura.  Up the US-101 to Grover Beach 
for the night.  Then on to San Jose via the 101.  Probably come back on Monday 
down Highway 1 to San Luis Obispo, then home on Tuesday.

It's going to be a leisurely trip, so if there are any listers along the way 
who would like to get together for an hour or so, let me know. 

Although I drive the old 308GTS almost daily, I haven't had it this far from 
home for a long time.  Should be an interesting trip, sans A/C and cruise 
control.  But the music should be awesome.
