Hey Gang,

Euro-Hallett was almost a decade ago.  A decade!  "308s-in-'08" was a blast.  
It demonstrated that we still enjoy events together.  

The original Hallett weekends were almost a decade ago! We followed that with a 
trip to the factory together.  And the 308s-in-08 gathering last summer just 
proved that we still enjoy getting together face-to-face.  

I believe that we've now heard all the gloom-n-doom that we can stand.  Let's 
turn off the damned TV and get together again and do something fun instead.

Momentum is building for the 2009 Boavista Vintage F1 and Ferrari weekend in 
Porto, Portugal!  The event is 10-12 July in Porto.  You can fly directly to 
Porto or if you can find a cheaper flight, arrive in Lisbon and take the scenic 
drive up to the north.  Either way, the travel is easy.  And of course, our own 
Rui Gigante lives in Maia, adjacent to Porto, and is an event organizer.  I'm 
sure Rui will assist with local knowledge and finding sources of transportation 
and housing.

A number of List members from both sides of the pond, have already signed up, 
including the Lindsays from Texas.  Please join us for a great weekend, time in 
a beautiful country and the sights, sounds and smells of some awesome vintage 
F1 racing action!  And the fact that the weekend includes a Ferrari event on 
the historic Boavista F1 circuit, is just an uber-bonus!  Woohoo!
