I know exactly what you mean. The Porsche t shirts on their website are $85 IIRC - completely insane. It's a friggin T-Shirt after all! The profit is astronomical. IMHO, Porsche is the worst at profiteering this kind of stuff. I know, it;s their trademark and they have a right to make whatever the market will bear. But seems to
me they'd sell 3X as many of the price were 1/2 of what it is.

OTOH, the Ferrari website has T's for from ~$33 - $53. COnsiderably less expensive than Porsche. I seem to recall hearing Ferrari is the best known corporate logo on earth - except for Coke and Playboy of course. ;-)

I just read Rehkopf's comment on the Scud stripes.....WTF???
But people are paying it.

Yep. Ferrari's market is the person who doesn't know or care what his bank balance is. And no, I'm not talking about those who write bad checks. If one has bazillions of dollars, Euros, Pounds, etc., does it really matter if the stripes are $8500 or $8.50? Same with the $11k watches. And the $45 Massa t-shirt I have on today! Wait, I bought mine at the Puma Outlet Mall shop for $11.
