Rust and chain tensioners being two that are high on the list. Due the age
and mileage, most will have had the tensioners dealt with already. As with
rust, if restored, check the quality of the work. Head light buckets are a
great place for rust to hide. Porsche didn't get serious about rustproofing
with these early cars, so watch for all the places tin worms like to gather.

Nice cars, and they have been going up over the past few years, so
hopefully, some of the more recent restorations have justified higher
quality work. Not that older restorations on these cars wasn't high, or
very high, but you know how it is for many when it comes to spending $10,000
for paint on a $10,000 car. ;-)
