Hey Gang -
I haven't read all the replies yet (there's a bunch) but they seem to be pretty like-minded. One thing some people don't think about (not those on this list though) is that once something enters the public area of something like FB or others like it, the stuff it there to stay - no pulling it back, etc.

I have never felt the need to advertise who and what I am on a public billboard. Share with friends like you guys? Sometimes yes, especially when its nice to have like-minds share an important moment. Broadcast to the masses? No.

Hi Guys,
I assume some of you are members of Facebook. I have
not joined
although I keep getting invitations from people I don't
know - at
least I don't think I know them.

I don't want to offend those who have embraced this
new
technology but I just don't get it. It seems so High
School to me -
but I don't know that much about it. (If you love
facebook please
don't take this question as a personal attack)

Can anyone convince me I have formed the wrong
impression?
Seems like these email forums are the best ways to stay in
touch &
discuss mutual interests. Or am I missing something?

Sincerely,
Larry T (74 911, 91 300D 2.5T)
