Hi Jim,I get email from people asking me to join their group. How does that work? Did they pick me specifically or did they click the wrong box somewhere so
every person in their address book gets an invitation? That doesn't make it worthwhile in my books, but just letting you know that THAT, at least, isn't an issue.

Share with friends like you guys? Sometimes yes, especially when its nice to have like-minds share an important moment. Broadcast to
the masses? No. --- On Mon, 2/23/09, LarryT <l02turner [at] comcast.net> wrote:

I have not joinedalthough I keep getting invitations from people I don't know - at least I don't think I know them.I don't want to offend those who have embraced this new technology but I just don't get it. It seems so High School to me - but I don't know that much about it. (If you love facebook please don't take thisquestion as a personal attack) Can anyone convince me I have formed the wrong impression? Seems like these email forums are the best ways to stay in touch & discuss mutual interests. Or am I missing something?
