The other nice thing is that you can pick and choose who you want in your 
group/network......I've rejected plenty because I don't want the disruptions 
they would bring.

I find it a waste of time on the whole, however, you can display as much as
or as little of yourself as you wish. That doesn't make it worthwhile in my
books, but just letting you know that THAT, at least, isn't an issue.

I have never felt the need to advertise who and what I am on a public
billboard.  Share with friends like you guys?  Sometimes yes, especially
when its nice to have like-minds share an important moment.  Broadcast to
the masses?  No.
