No, its pretty much High School all over again!

I'm on and I have connected with a few people that I have wanted to, but could not find over the years. That part is neat, however what you have is a place where wayyy too many people can see what's going on in your life. I prefer to stay low key. I do post some things on FB, but most of it stays between me and my true friends/family.

Hi Guys,
I assume some of you are members of Facebook. I have not joined
although I keep getting invitations from people I don't know - at
least I don't think I know them.

I don't want to offend those who have embraced this new
technology but I just don't get it. It seems so High School to me -
but I don't know that much about it. (If you love facebook please
don't take this question as a personal attack)

Can anyone convince me I have formed the wrong impression?
Seems like these email forums are the best ways to stay in touch &
discuss mutual interests. Or am I missing something?

Sincerely,
Larry T (74 911, 91 300D 2.5T)
