Oh, I agree with Charles' assessment as well, although for those who think 
there is some kind of 'National Conspiracy'....um, no.  Besides, the laws 
regarding Speeding haven't changed, and for the most part neither has radar-gun 
technology.  Got V1?
 
For the record, I used to get a throwaway $50 ticket almost annually when I 
lived in S.C., and it didn't bother me much.  My insurance premiums didn't move 
one dollar.  In S.C., the roads were smooth and flat and generally free of 
debris and potholes.  Compared to the Shop-Bill I paid for having the 
suspension systems of both my Ferrari AND Ford re-built here in MA, at 
$145/hour, I'll gladly pay Officer Friendly $50 for smoother asphalt.  MUCH 
CHEAPER.

Haha...

It does say "BOGUS" at the top of the article....and then goes into the
background. I scrolled through the whole thing and didn't see it
substantiate other portions.

But just for the record, being on Snopes isn't an automatic hoax in
itself.....Snopes has substantiated rumors here & there.
