I wanted to say thanks to the list for the advice on my thread re: Merc GL450, 
especially Adam Green who wrote a wonderful reply about the model.     My Wife 
and I picked up a 2007 GL450 (warranty to 100K) a week ago and absolutely LOVE 
it!    (Tried to attach pic, but server won't let me...) 
The dealer had taken the vehicle in on a Thursday, I called on it as it was 
being cleaned up, made an appointment to see it on Friday and they sent it home 
with us for the weekend.  We made a low ball offer to the local dealer 10 min 
before closing on Monday and they bit on it.   They were happy to move it 
quickly and we are thrilled with the deal we got. So far Heather is being 
stingy with the drive times which is OK with me because she is actually 
interested in a car (SUV).   That will change in July when we drive it to 
Virginia. :)
