Hello Friends,

Two topics this morning.

1. I got a chance to work on the Mondial yesterday. I finished the carpet
clean-up and refinished the console with leather treatment. The car
now looks good, smells good and runs great! I also got the 'antique'
car plates on the car. I now need to get the lower part of the engine
degreased and the new tires mounted on the new Superformance 16" wheels.
I also need to get the correct Euro. exhaust remounted so the car will
also SOUND great. The car will then be ready for anything from
spirited motoring to daily driving. Next in the queue will be
finishing the 308GTB. Right now it has a non-functional driver's side
window and some interior TLC needed.

2. Went to the local car show last evening where I spotted a beautiful
red/tan 355 Spider with a paper 'Ferrari of Seattle' tag. After walking
the aisles and ogling everything from hotrods to Panteras (okay, there
was only one), I spotted the 355 again. This time parked and with the
   new owner.
I write today to introduce Barry Raborn to you, and to introduce Barry
to the Ferrari List and to F-Chat. Barry has been a Ferrari fan every
since childhood - like many of us. Today, he has realized that dream.
The Ferrari List has been in existence for more than 14 years! I
joined the List in the fall of 1996 and bought my 308GTB in January
of 1997. And with the exception of a small hiatus when work had a
large suck-factor, I've been a member every since. A few years ago I
also joined Ferrari Chat, affectionately referred to here as F-Chat.
   Both forums are great.
So Barry, here are the links to get you signed up for this wonderful
e-mail list and to connect you with the F-Chat community. Both will
afford you a group of friends from all over the world, and save you
a FORTUNE in maintenance and repair tips.

So, Happy Sunday everyone!
