Rick:

When I was still flying we used to have a VFR checkpoint on the approach to
Hazard (KY) airport known as "Inbred Ridge". Named that after we had a RON in
eastern KY during the 1991 coal (UMW) strike and we just drove up there our
of curiosity as to what we would see on the ground. We hadn't even rolled to
a stop in the car before that appellation was attached to the location, and
noted on our sectional charts.

Now I understand that one of the Appalachian Mountains redevelopment
projects is to put a tech. support and/or customer service call in center
there.
Just think of the incentive to order when you hear the following in "Hillbilly"

(I think that became a recognized dialect about the same time as "Ebonics" in
this politically correct world of offsets for opposites to maintain inertial
balance): Hello, My name is 'Sanjy" how may I assist you today?"
