Hey Paul -re the driver making changes to the nose wings. I'm probably in a minority here but I think that's taking technology a little too far.
Besides, think of all those poor mechanics that'll be put out of work since they won't be needed to crank the wing up and down? ;-) (that's the union point of view)

In SPEED's preseason show they showed the on-dash controls for tweaking the front wing's angle of attack. They spent a minute or so explaining how the driver can increase the angle for added front down-force, then flatten it out on the straights to minimize drag. They even talked a little about whether the controls were electric or hydraulic and how that might slow down nose/wing changes. I haven't heard a word about this significant change since then.Have any of you heard of seen anything more about this? It's been mentioned by them several times but no great emphasis. I've noted that the pit guys haven't been cranking the wings as they have in former years at tire changes. Also mentioned was limited to 1 change per lap max and 6 degrees up or down which cannot be split into 3+3 or 4+2 to get interim settings.p _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/l02turner%40comcast.net Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
