Hello Friends, A typical Rick story to follow: Yesterday we drove from Houston to Tulsa, towing a U-Haul trailer full of IKEA furniture for my daughter. This morning after unloading, I exchanged the trailer for an auto transporter and headed off to pick up the new/old car that I bought. Into the driveway I backed the trailer and pulled out the loading ramps. We then put air in all four flat tires, using a little portable air compressor. The PO had parked the car 10 years ago with the handbrake on, and of course, it stuck. A little rocking got it released and we began the process of loading. And that's when we realized that although we could fit the car on the trailer - barely - the track was too narrow for the ramps. Even with added 2x6s, the load (by hand) would be dangerous. Therefore, we gave up. So the PO and I traded title for money, leaving me to arrange professional transport. Thus, this is the story of the 1962 Triumph TR3b I just bought and own but can't take possession of today. I've waited 9 years for this very car and even formed a Yahoo! Group to discuss it (thinking it was an "a" model, not a "b"), and now I own the car. And I need help. Please advise if you have a transport company that you trust. I'd prefer closed transport as the car currently has no top, but with a car cover and a tarp it could withstand an open transport even in the rain. Regards, Rick Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
