It's getting to be time to replace a couple of family mainstays - a 1998
Audi A8 (with 147K miles) and (wife's) 2000 xk-8 conv. I'm considering a
V10 S8 for the A8 and a R8 conv. (maybe factory pickup on release) for
the other. The current A8 gets almost 29 mpg on the 135m (each way)
trip to PTown and I would certainly take an fuel economy hit with the
S8. But, life is short, and we have been told to play hard. Any
alternative suggestions???
