My friend Scott tried to get FoH to do a MINOR (15k mile) service on his mint-condition '89 328GTS. And while they did not explicitly refuse, they quoted the job at a cost in excess of $15,000 and with a 3 month minimum turn-around. Effectively, they transferred the "No." from the dealer to the customer. We're on our own here boys. rick --- On Thu, 4/30/09, Erik Nielsen <judge4re [at] gmail.com> wrote: From: Erik Nielsen <judge4re [at] gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Ferrari Dealers--why no cars older than a 360 To: "rolindsay" <rolindsay [at] yahoo.com> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Date: Thursday, April 30, 2009, 7:06 AM More or less none of them do. Been like that for a while. The older cars are studies in deferred maintenance, the dealers don't want the hassle of having to go through a car for a smaller margin. It's a time versus effort thing with them. But then again, when was the last time you could get a 10 year old Volvo from your local dealer?
