I have had a 512 TR for  over 15years plus and have over 85k on my car.
I am a driver not a washer and a waxer!
I by the tires that are on sale at Tire Rack that fit the car!
There is not a dimes worth a difference between tires!
When you read performance tire reports the most I have ever seen is around
10 feet of braking distance.
I routinely mix and match different brands front to rear.
In fact I am in the process of buying new tires for the 512 TR this week.
Its your money spend it wisely.

It's time again for tires for the 1990 TR with stock wheels.  The Tire Rack
offers one Z rated brand, the BF Goodrich g Force Sport, and a Yokohama AVID
V4s.  Does anyone have experience with either of these tires?  If I upgraded
the wheels and tires to 18's what should I look for?  Has any one done this
and are you happy with the look and the performance.  Anyone care to
comment.  Thanks in advance.  Bob
