Cool! You must have enough built in to the price to cover the merchant account fee? There was a dealership in NC that sold a new MB - and the customer wanted to pay using Amex - since they publicized they accepted AMEX (intended for the parts dept) they had to accept it for the new car sales. Don't know ow much their merchant fee was or how much their new car margin was but they raised such a fuss it was in the newpaper - Isn't the merchant fee usually between 2% & 4% depending on sales volumn? Changing topics, what are the best reward cards out there? Here's what I do: I have a Pentagon Federal Credit Union Visa card that gives 5% back on all pay-at-the-pump purchases (no limits), and I believe 2% on everything else. I also use an American Express for all travel or restaurant expenses or at Costco as it gives 3% on all those purchases, but I have to wait for a yearly check from AMEX that I then have to bring to Costco, but you can cash it on and get green bills as your rebate (you don't have to USE it at Costco). Are there other good rewards options out there? I really like the pure cash back rewards instead of travel perks and such. -matt '85 euro 308....top off commuting today...
