You know the best gas mileage I ever got in my QV, was running at approx.
100 MPH for about 100 miles or so, that mixed with some spirited highway
driving got just better than 20 MPG. Best I ever managed in it.

All this talk about fuel efficiency, etc., got me wondering about
something a bit off the previous topic:

Robert:  Corvettes are known for being relative fuel misers.  But
physics is physics and it has to take a bit of petrol to run those
open road races.  What kind of mileage do you get at 145mph?

I'd guess somewhere around 6 - 8 mpg.  Close?
