Jim, I'm just shaking my head at this one.....YOU PROVED MY POINT.
 
Look at your own data.  See for yourself that small/fuel-efficient cars are 
growing in sales numbers while SUVs and other gass-guzzlers are in free-fall.  
People's attitudes are changing.  This summer, gas prices will climb again.  
The economy will probably be where it is right now.  Sales lots will be clogged 
with so many SUVs that some dealerships (especially those getting axed) will be 
practically giving them away - and that's the only way the'll sell.  
 
And you wanna prove to me that worldwide (this is, after all, a global economy) 
small cars have not totally dominated the marketplace?  You doubt my source, 
but you have ZERO data that disproves it....methinks you are afraid to go 
look.  Common sense would say I'm right....how long has the Civic, the Beetle, 
and the Corolla/Camry been on the market?  Decades?  Would that be because 
people STILL want them and buy them?  I think you'll figure it out 
eventually....
