Re: NFC: Here comes BO's 10 % US National Sales tax

Here in Houston there are private, walk-in medical shops opening on every
corner. They are our ERs of choice. They accept insurance and cash and
there's basically no waiting. With so many uninsured AND illegals here in
Houston, the ERs of the hospitals are non-starters. There is just no way to
get even a broken arm (or heart attack?) treated when there are 20 runny noses
in front of you, none of which have any documentation or insurance. And all of
them have to be treated, by law, independent of whether they can or will pay.

We use the private ERs exclusively, for emergencies or after-hours treatment
when our GP is closed.
