There were no 83's registered on the road, but several still exist. Not
all were destroyed and buried as ordered by GM!

Chevy is part of the "Good GM", so will survive the bankrupcy. If you saw a 'Smart' Car on a US Highway, then it passed the EPA/DOT minimum crash-safety standards prior to US importation by MB. The 'Smart' is more-safe than any motorcycle, MG, Triumph, etc. Its not something you want to be driving if your goal is to walk-away from a head-on collision with a Suburban travelling at 80 mph, but then show me a Ferrari with the same crash-protection...M --- On Thu, 6/4/09, LarryT <l02turner [at] comcast.net> wrote: From: LarryT <l02turner [at] comcast.net> Subject: [Ferrari] GM & Corvette NFC To: "Michael" <Cavallino_Rapante [at] yahoo.com> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Date: Thursday, June 4, 2009, 11:03 AM Hey Gang - \Just curious, is Corvette included in the GM bankruptcy? Hoping it's not included in the govt mess but I guess Corvette needs the rest of the GM line to meet CAFE mandates.BTW< saw a MB miniture car yesterday (can't recall the name - could it be called "Smart"??) - looks like a egg on wheels. Yard to imagine more than 2 people in that thing. Would really hate to see one in an accident!Thx LarryT (getting a new knee this month!! - any suggesions?) _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/cavallino_rapante%40yahoo.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/ _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/dnt%40dock.net Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/ _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/brianbuxton%40buxtonmotorsports.comSponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlineshttp://www.F1Headlines.com/
