Thanks larry! I even got 12 months no interest and no payments. Tempted to buy
more at such deals but wisely stayed within my cash limits.

Some of these pawn shops in Vegas were set up better than most retail stores!
Long way from being "buzzed in" through metal screened doors of the old shops.
Tool sections were incredible but sad. Hoping most not from theft but also hope
not from people losing jobs either.

Think Ferrari's will be had at a discount anytime soon? You know things are
bad when you can get a discount on an F-car and 0% financing! LOL

LOL - That sounds like eBay! Buyers who have no idea what a fair price
should be or of what the items are bringing thru normal outlets. They see
something on eBay (or Pawnshop) and think it *must* be a deal!

Congrats on the nice timepieces -

Yes, a post that includes watches AND Ferrari!

Local authorized panerai dealer has in-stock ferrari panerai 35% off!
Tourneau in Vegas or Chicago wouldn't even match it. Only three left at the
store near me. I was about to pick one up but I got a real good deal on a
breitling cockpit diamond - those NEVER go on sale. Luxury goods that
usually never go on sale can be had with serious discounts is one of the few
good things about this economy.

The jeweler that handled macy's got kicked out of all stores and they are
desparately reducing stock 60%-70% off retail through other locations.
Carson Pirie Scott in my area. Carrera Automatics 60% off! Movado 70% off.
Bailey Banks & Biddle too but not as deep discounts but different
jewelry/higher line. A friend who is a factory watch rep told me that's
below cost and he is picking up a couple from a retail store because he
can't even get that deal. Earlier this week in Vegas, I even scoped out
local pawn shops for deals. Surprisingly, many items were priced higher than
on sale retail stores. Retailers are desperate.

Sorry for dragging on. I still just can't believe the deals I got! I spent
more on watches yesterday than on my newly aquired track car. I'm still
trying to figure out how to explain BOTH to my girlfriend (doesn't know how
much I spent yet!) without having to buy her jewelry... LOL Maybe I'll tell
her Mike got the watches for me from China. You got my back bud?
