Larry, I had the Cessna 150 Aerobat built. I did not buy when it was new as
it was used to cert. variations of the 150 till the 152 was introduced then
it was sold to the public. I had all the log books, number changes
configuration (stahdard and long range tanks, wing (spar) mods etc. Sold it
when I went to Oshkosh twice 1 year and was paying for 110 mph and being
passed by 55mph road traffic. I used to take skydivers up, not for
parachuting, but to introduce them to real flying (conveterd a couple).
The best flight was to Chicago where we sold it(I was going to build a Pitts
S2A- funny note I ended up selling the kit to Paul Newman - not the actor).
Last I saw it was in Florida. First time at Oshkosh the tower was talking to
a Black and White 150
and from the description of where it was we were occupying the same space,
1914F was DARK Blue and white, turned out it was us.

I remember flying a C150 and landing with this kind if crab angle - but have never seen a heavy do it! I must admit the pilot is pretty good to recover from this, but bad to have tried it with so much cross wind. Maybe he had no choice? All IMHO of course. Plus, my Cessna 150 flying was a long time ago - in the mid 70s.\http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/exclusivevids/EAAAirVenture2009_AirbusA380_HardLanding_200850-1.html Read the Constitution - It's Interesting! http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.overview.html _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/sherman%40wildblue.net Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlineshttp://www.F1Headlines.com/
