I remember flying a C150 and landing with this kind if crab angle - but have 
never seen a heavy do it!  I must admit the pilot is pretty good to recover 
from this, but bad to have tried it with so much cross wind.  Maybe he had no 
choice? All IMHO of course.  Plus, my Cessna 150 flying was a long time ago - 
in the mid 70s.\
