Thanks Deep, so tubbed wheel housings are like the other side of massive fender
flares. Probably helps keep the wheel offset manageable I suppose.

  12 inch wheels, wow!

Jon, on the "Description" tab of the page is a very lengthy write up on the car.

Tubbed rear wheel housings are modified to allow more room towards the inside
of the space allowing for a wider than stock wheel. The largest wheel you can
fit to a stock V is about 9 inches, mine has a 12 inch rear wheel. It's the
only Mallett V that's ever had this option.

Thanks,
LS

Hey Deep

Is the link correct?  The webpage shows 400hp and 5.7 liters, which is way less
than 570 hp and 427 ci.

Also, I have been a car nut for a long, long time but I have no idea in the
world what "tubbed rear wheel housings" are and why I should be impressed.  Any
information you can provide to educate me on this feature would be much
appreciated,

Thanks and good luck!

John
