>It is what Fisi has always wanted. Up until Spa I would agree that FI as a perennial out of the points runner would have seen little effect from losing him. I think this year has really brought home what a difference "the car" makes. Last year you could easily have put Rubens and Jenson in the list of "perennial out of the points runner". I think we are seeing that all the drivers are very close and the product they sit in can make or break them (apply the converse to Ferrari and McLaren during the first part of the season). And although I have my favorites, I HATE the idea of a Driver's Series. F the drivers. I want to see technology in F1 and the recent trends are pushing it towards the boredom that was CART and is IRL and NASCRAP. Sorry, I'm not fooled by the different colored decals. Trim back the rules to displacement and wheel base, dump the budget cuts, release the hounds!!! <soap box mode off> Rick
