With all the major marquees leaving, I-1's future seems to be in some jeopardy as fewer engine makers will be available for the lesser teams to compete with lower budgets. Maybe going back to the 70's racing cars and budgets would be a good thing though.

Well over a billion spent without a win. Some are lucky that it was
just withdrawing from the sport and that no hangings have been
scheduled.
