Toyota just didn't get it
They thought they could do what ferrari did engine and chassis and they didn't 
want to take the time to do either right
Money helps but it isn't everything in F1
Honda can tell a story about that as well
I am sorry to see them leave but there arogance of trying be another ferrari 
was a little much and they paid the price dearly 

Ps where is the lister who said Toyota would win the championship now?

I agree, Erik.  That much money basically just poured right down the drain.
I mean, it gave people employment, but maybe with the new teams entering F1
they'll find other jobs.  Then again, they were on a team that never really
achieved anything...

P.S.  And, since Bridgestone isn't going to participate next year, and
Pirelli has ruled it out, maybe Michelin will be back.  Even better, maybe 2
tire companies will compete, adding yet another twist to next year.
