How come YOU don't know about it? I don't know... Alan Tebby gave me the link (on Facebook) of the study back in October. (Thanks to Alan! - reproduced below!) <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19682714?ordinalpos=12&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_DefaultReportPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum> FWIW, it's not the only study that shows the quercetins in Sambucus Nigra (aka Black Elderberry) are effective against influenza viruses. There are multiple. Apparently the act as neuraminidase inhibitors. It's also been anecdotally known for a few hundred years. Essentialy "Take elderberry if you have a 'cold'". There are hundreds of natural remedies for diseases. Big Pharma has no vested interest (read: $$$$ interest) in promoting them. (Uncle Ken gave us an amino acid derivative that helps as well - last year!)
