Polio wasn't eradicated by Pfizer. Ever wonder why we have half-a-dozen pills on the market to cure Erectile Dysfunction in this country, but no cure for AIDS? Or Cancer? Couldn't that private-industry investment for the development of Viagra have been better-spent on more worthwhile medical pursuits that better-support the goodness and health of the greater society? Guess what - private-industry doesn't give a DAMN about such things. Let's not kid ourselves here - this isn't the 1950s anymore. Business 'ethics' and 'values' have deteriorated from what they once were to ONLY THE BOTTOM LINE MATTERS. Quick, short-term profits by any means necessary. And go ahead and ask anyone if they 'choose' to contract the flu or the common cold..or worse.....once again, you're not making any logical sense. --- On Sat, 11/14/09, Jim Conforti <lndshrk [at] xmission.com> wrote: From: Jim Conforti <lndshrk [at] xmission.com> Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Politics - Not List Material To: "Michael" <Cavallino_Rapante [at] yahoo.com> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Date: Saturday, November 14, 2009, 1:26 AM Polio has been eradicated. Swine Flu can be handled w/ Elderberry Extract ($15) as well as Tamiflu ($80) Where is this a LUXURY, Michael? Where does this require the intervention of FedGovCo? Being Healthy is 90+% lifestyle choices. Not medicine. However don't let facts get in the way of your liberal fantasies. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/cavallino_rapante%40yahoo.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
