Don't know if this was mentioned before but I came across a video showing the Bugatti driving along 10 -20 seconds before the Bug. went into the water. I wonder why they were filming ? Did they know the car was going into the water?

The video is on the Comcast.net news webpage.

IOW, was it staged? seems like a dumb thing to do but stranger things have happened -

I saw the video of the car being pulled out of the swamp on CNBC
There didn't seem to be any damage to the front end so it appears this Joe Bag O doughnuts just drove the thing into the water
Looks like aa insurance scam to me!
You hit water a 60mph or higher with a car that low your going to have massive front end damage

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the rear spoiler extends fully at
140 mph on that car.

That is the spoiler's position in the towing video.

I'm guessing that it doesn't take much of a distraction at that speed to
turn the car into a fish.

Nice color combination, though. Maybe Ricky can make some wall art out
of it.
