No need to use the kit
Loosen the front top hose and clamp assy
Get the car hot until the fans come on
Turn car off
Get a hose and put it in coolant recovery tank
Disconnect front hose (yes water that is hot everywhere)
Turn on water and when it runs clear you have flushed the system.

Subject: [Ferrari] 328 radiator flush
I am going to flush my coolant. I purchased one of those flush
kits. I am supposed to attach it to an inlet (to engine)
hose. There are two hoses attached to the coolant tank. The smaller
hose is on top of the tank and the larger hose is right under it at
the bottom of the tank. Which of these is an inlet hose or is
there another accessible hose that is an inlet hose? When I looked
at a diagram, it appears that the upper hose is the inlet hose but
before I cut the hose, I want to make sure. I also intend to take
the thermostat out so that I don't have to start the engine and keep
it hot to get complete circulation of the water. If the bottom hose
is the outlet hose from the radiator to the coolant tank, can I just
take that hose off at the tank and let the coolant run out from there
into a bucket. Thanks for any help.
Also, since I never use the A/C, I would like to take the condenser
off from in front of the radiator. How can I go about taking the
condenser off so that straight air reaches the radiator rather than
go through the condenser? Are there any web site which show how to
do it? Thanks
Jim
